Nova kreatorka “Victoria’s Secreta” donosi potpunu transformaciju

Modna kuća “Victoria’s Secret” uskoro bi mogla doživjeti potpuno transformaciju. Od nedavno je u timu modnog giganta novo dizajnersko lice koje će svojim kreacijama donijeti potpuno novi neočekivani doživljaj. Mary Katrantzou dizajnerka je koja je kreirala kostime koji će biti predstavljeni na godišnjem showu “VS”. 

Na svom Instagram profilu “Victoria’s Secret” otkrili su par detalja o novim modelima koje če kreirati Mary, a za koje su već istakli kako će postati apsolutni hit na modnom tržištu. Spoj, raličitih detalja, inovativnih rješenja, neki su od simbola ove kreatorke.

Prošle godine, kreativni direktor “Balmaina” Olivier Rousteing bio je zadužen za kreacije koje su bile predstavljene na godišnjoj reviji. Međutim, spajanje “Balmaina” i “VS-a” nije napravilo zančajnije promjene, pa su čelni ljudi “Victoria’s Secreta” odlučili ovogodišnji show u potpunosti dati u ruke Mary za koju su sigurni da će svojim idejama sigurno zadovoljiti njihovim očekivanjima.

The @VictoriasSecret Fashion Show Will Include a @MaryKatrantzou Capsule Collection⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ After a celebratory 10th anniversary show during London Fashion Week, #MaryKatrantzou isn’t slowing down. This November, the designer will unveil a capsule collection with #VictoriasSecret at the lingerie retailer’s 2018 #VictoriasSecretFashionShow. “My work is about perception and perspective and filtering beauty through design to allow women to stand out. I wanted to turn that on its head and look at the ‘foundation’ that we wear as women, underneath the clothes I usually design in my collections. Underwear is the first protective layer that has the ability to reinforce a woman’s confidence,” says Katrantzou.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Katrantzou worked closely with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s longtime creative director, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou — @10magazine, and executive producer, @monica.mitro, as well as the Victoria’s Secret design team, to get the prints and fit just right. The Angels, too, got to give their take on the collection. “It was invaluable to fit on the VS girls and get their feedback on what they love to wear,” says the designer.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ The Katrantzou collab is the second high fashion capsule for Victoria’s Secret, after partnering with @Balmain — @olivier_rousteing on a range of lingerie that debuted at last year’s fashion show.
