Nick Gordon, who was found liable in the death of his ex-partner Bobbi Kristina Brown, has died. He was 30. Gordon’s attorney Joe S. Habachy confirmed his client’s death in a statement Wednesday to The Associated Press. The Atlanta attorney did not give a cause of death or say where it occurred. Gordon’s death comes nearly five years after Brown, the daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015. The 22-year-old died after six months in a coma. Her family blamed Gordon, accusing him in the lawsuit of giving her a “toxic cocktail” before putting her face-down in the water. Gordon was never charged in the case, but he was found responsible in a wrongful death lawsuit. Podsjećamo, Bobbi Kristina pronađena je bez svijesti u svojoj kadi 31. januara 2015. godine. Imala je 22 godine. Zbog sumnjivih ozljeda na tijelu, njen zaručnik bio je pod istragom. Nick Gordon, liable for Whitney Houston's daughter's death has died at the age of 30 due to heroin overdose. Bobbi Kristina's ex-partner has been confirmed dead by his attorney Joe S. Habachy who said: "My heart is heavy today after learning that my long time client Nick Gordon died at the young age of thirty. While I cannot speak to the specific circumstances of his death, I can say that it’s been truly heartbreaking to have witnessed first hand the total devastation that drug addiction has wreaked upon a group of young friends, all of whom were loved and had immense potential." Gordon's brother also released a statement to People Magazine: "We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother. He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.” 5 years ago, Bobbi Kristina was found in a similar manner to how her mother Whitney Houston died, in a bathtub. However, Bobbi was still alive and put on life support. Unfortunately her life couldn't be saved and died after six months in a coma. It is unknown precisely what caused Bobbi to be found face down in the bathtub, but cocaine, morphine, alcohol and prescription medication was found in her system. Now Nick Gordon has also died. Whitney Houston had taken Nick Gordon in as a 12 year old child and raised him and her daughter Bobbi Kristina following her 2007 divorce from Bobbi's father Bobby Brown. He called Whitney his mother, but strangely went on to date her daughter after Whitney was found dead in a hotel bathtub in 2012.
