Milioni fanova Zare Abid (28) širom svijeta oplakuju prelijepu pakistansku glumicu i manekenku.

Zara and I won our biggest awards this year, together, at the Hum style awards, in January. It was her first award, ever. That was the last time I met her and the only time I got to really connect with her. It was me who presented the award to her, along with the two Tariqs. She was weeping with joy on stage when she received her award and I remember hugging her tightly and saying baby, you deserve this so much. She was too overwhelmed with emotion, to talk much on stage. A little later I received my award and had tears in my eyes during my speech as well. You see we both knew what these awards meant for us. They meant more than anyone could imagine. We both met backstage right after, and shared this overwhelming experience together. After some hugging and sobbing, we fixed our faces and took these beautiful photos. This is how I’ll always remember you Zara. Smiling, warm, vulnerable and happy, celebrating the fruit of your hard work. I didn’t know you too well but the amazing things we are all hearing about you from your friends tell us what a wonderful, kind soul you were. You worked hard to support your family and had big dreams, some of which you were able to catch…. but you left us too soon. We will not forget this day… this horrific reminder of how unpredictable life is. Praying for your soul and for your family, along with the families of all those departed. May Allah give them strength. Rest in eternal peace, beautiful. Fly high in the heavens. You must have done a lot of things right to be blessed with departing on Jumma tul Widah. . . @zaraabidofficial #rip #gonetoosoon #pia #planecrash #throwback

As soon as news of the tragic crash came in, i got calls from friends wanting to know if i knew anything about #ZaraAbid surviving the crash. Thats the kind of love i had for her: and everyone knew it. I barely knew her when i offered her the #Hunza destination wedding shoot we did 3 yrs ago. All i knew was she’s drop dead gorgeous and i wanted her for the shoot. Few hours before we were boarding the flight for Hunza, everything u can think of going wrong, went wrong with the shoot. The photographer and makeup artist vanished on us minutes before the flight. I was contemplating canceling the flight but she egged me on: she said she would do her own makeup while i can give the shoot a realistic feel by shooting it on the iphone. I got excited and we boarded the flight. Once in Hunza, i saw Zara turning into my favorite subject to ever work with. She would wake up at 5am to do her makeup and since the team was small, she would insist on ironing the bridal clothes with them. Since my son (who was 3 at the time) was with me, she insisted on babysitting him, so i could get a breather. We would have bonfires and chat till late at night and she would insist we all narrate stories as she wanted to absorb our “experiences” of life. Her love for her family was intense: her sense of responsibility towards her siblings and parents was what actually made me love her even more. In the 5 days we were together, never did i hear her gossip about anyone … not even once, not even casually. Professional to the core, she quickly became the darling of the team: loved by each and everyone of us. How can i forget Nyle calling her his “princess” the first time he saw her in bridal wear! Her eye-makeup on day 1 of the shoot was so bad and mismatched …. but i just didn’t have the heart to tell her… so i made her wear her sunnies with the bridal jora!! All she said was “aap pagal hain, itnee mehnat sey meine itna acha eye makeup kiya aur aap ney cover karwa diya!” Fact that the very same photo by @maaraa went viral is another story for another day. This story is of a girl who won hearts, without even making an effort, just by being herself. RIP my girl. This hurts. . (Team tagged)

Mnogi također komentiraju da je Zara Abid i predvidjela svoju smrt, jer je neposredno prije tragedije objavila svoju fotografiju u helikopteru s porukom: – “Leti visoko, to je dobro”.
